I haven't had the best of luck with spray bars.I always had them clog up.

As long as I try to remember to poke something in the holes every once in a while (which shouldn't be a problem for my mind lol) it should stay unclogged.:D Worst case scenario it does clog up it is not glued into the bulkhead and I could just make another and replace it.

I wonder how well it would work if you were to use some type of rigid tubing in the holes. To be honest everything you have done so far looks great.

looks really good so far!!! doing a great job.....man i wish you would come over and fix my live rock...that looks great!!!!!

Yes I did get the lights moved over as well as some zoas and lps. Thanks for the help Cody. I also got the controller moved over and mostly hooked up. So all that is left is to dip and move about 50 sps frags and 3 clams and the calcium reactor. The purple tang also needs moved but she is going in later affter I get a couple of new fish (shes not very nice).

I am also looking for a mated pair of blue chin triggers if any one has seem some for sale let me know.

It's looking very nice. The rock work came out really interesting. While I don't like working in a 30" deep tank as you can get pretty wet reaching to the bottom of the tank, it does give a lot of room to build nice structures.

Yea Lee I can't reach the bottom of the tank unless I stick some of my armpit and shoulder in the water. The fish seem to enjoy the extra depth though. How its gonna effect par numbers is the next issue. I need to get the par meter this weekrend and get that figured out.

You will like that Vlamingi Tang when he gets big, ours is probably 8 or 9" now, and is like a dog, when we put our hands in the tank he will swim right up there, can't hardly work in the tank without him nudging me, its pretty cool, only fish in our tank that will let us touch him anytime we want, great personality for a fish.

Looks great, next time I come to the lake I will give ya a shout and bring you guys a couple of goodies.

Greg you come to Keystone? We almost live in our wakeboard boat in the summers. We have alot of fun wakeboarding, surfing and knocking back a cold one or two with a lime. You will definetly have to call when head up and we will meet you out on houseboat island then fire up the grill at the house and look at the tank.

I have a place at Tenkiller below Fin & Feather, but its not too far from you guys. At least not as far as OKC to there, lol.

Ok here are some tank shots with all my corals moved over. Everything is looking really good I did notice while dipping that the tropic marine coral dip was a little harsh on some of my sps colors (caused a little bit of browning on a few but coming back now) but the polp extension since moving them about week ago is excellent.

Jerrod,

Did you do the paint job around the tank? Talking about the two tone ragging. I did that when I turned the spare room into a nursery. It was a pain in the you know what. Not an easy way to paint, looks like you did a great job.

Unfortunately I did do that paint/stain job for my wife almost 5 years ago but luckily she hasn't got sick of it yet. lol

I got my male bluejaw trigger! Scott at Oddballs was able to order me this guy he came in very healthy. He was very shy for the first two weeks only coming out to move to another hiding spot. Now he is a pig and already waits to be fed with the others.

I was also able to get a few pics of the corals that are close to the glass the ones more towards the back wont focus on my camera.

Wild caught purple tort from oddballs grows like a weed. I think the flash of the camera gave it the lighter colored areas. It is solid purple when viewed in the tank.

My camera will not focus up close unless its on the front glass. So I have some ribeye steaks I could grill up for anyone who would bring out one of those big Nikon cameras to take some more pics for me.(hint hint Scott T.)

Great looking fish, and those are some nice photos! Looks like the tank is doing very well. Did you ever get PAR readings for your lights, I'm curious since everything seems to be doing so well.

Oh crap Lee I forgot I had that par meter! I know you were needing it I will try to drop it off to you in the next few days. PM me your number so I can call to make sure you will be home when I bring it to town. The par numbers were good. Lower than before from the deeper tank but still plenty I think even at the bottom for most things.

No worries on the PAR meter, I am in no rush and have really been too busy the past few weeks anyway. I can get it at the next meeting, I was just curious since I want to try to get a few members to publish numbers, bulb types, and specific corals they measured next to so we can begin to guide folks as to what has worked for others when it comes to good color and growth for different species. Ever since CRASE last fall when Dr. Sanjay Joshi mentioned he though many people probably over light their tanks I've been curious as to what level of light our members are seeing good results from.
