I am currently setting up a 10 gallon reef. I am going to have 15-20 lbs of live rock 20 lbs of sand a 30-40 gallon filter. Do you think I can keep 2 clowns a cardinal and a neon goby. I've seen tanks with that many fish maybe even one more and they're doing quite well. I'm not worried about filtration.

clowns are territorial. I've tried 1 in a 20 gallon long before. some people have luck, but mine harassed everyone to the point where they died from stress.

So you think no clowns would be best. Maybe a cardinal a neon goby a clown goby and one other smaller fish. What fish would you recommend?

you going to be running a nano skimmer? projected w/c schedule you can commit to?

certainly wont be a problem, but in a reef you need to make sure you can keep nitrates and organic PO4 with that many fish/ feeding in a 10 gallon it WILL be an issue without adequate skimming and /or W/C

If you can commit to a regular weekly 1-2 gallon w/c and/ or invest in a nice little efficient skimmer, I see no problems.

just my .02

Well I was already planning on regular water changes. So I didn't see a probleM with it either just wanted some opunions.

A pair of clowns, ever the smaller species need at least a 20 gal tank IMO. They will be full growth in 1-2 years
