Damn you all are going to scare me away from this hobby! Thanks for the info, I'm going to buy a pair of gloves now. I planned on getting a pair but after reading those I think I will tonight.

Do you guys know of any thiner gloves than those orange and blue/purple ones. I have a pair of those, but they are so big that its hard to do anything with them on.

Good looking out for the members, some of the things that can happen to you are no laughing matter. Especially the Zonathid toxin, best thing to o is to wear gloves and a face shield. I know of at least one person who got Zoa juice on there lips and they were numb for several hours. I would suspect that getting it in your eye could lead to some serious complications.

As for the dead dog that is no joke, that happened just about the time I was gettng back into reefing, and I have met the Gentleman who lost his dog, on several occasions.

I was looking for something on scorpions and fox faces i printed out all the pages that was posted

I got squirt in the eye by a zoa and was blind for a week.

It is a real threat, I had safety glasses on.......

My foxface is very friendly with me, knows I put the nori in the tank, and knows I put the rest of the food in the tank. On a few occasions I have fealt something brush me to look up at my eager foxface.

I'm no expert on them but i'm pretty sure they only strike when scared, a level of caution needs to be used but I feel that over time the fish knows you as the feeder, atleast mine does. If your a good feeder or not well thats up to you ;)
