I WAS JUST WONDERING IF 2 6060 CAN BE HOOKED UP TO A MULTI CONTROLER? OR DO I HAVE TO BUY THE 6000 SERIES PUMPS TO GET A WAVE ACTION TO WORK? THEY DONT REALY TELL US MUCH IN THE MARINE DOPOT BOOK. AND WHATS THE BENNIFIT TO THE 6000'S OVER THE 6060'S

6060 is a plain synchronous pump- just like any powerhead you have ever owned. It is absolutely forbidden to run them on a wavemaker as it will ruin the pump. The 6000 is an Electronic pump, it runs on low voltage and is computer controlled allowing a controller like the multicontroller to speed up or slow down the pump and make them pulse. The computer also monitors the pump and sounds an alarm if and when it ever stops. The 6000's are definitely the way to go if you have the money.
