Your thoughts on this one please

I pride myself on generally knowing most sps id traits however I have an acro that has me a bit stumped so I thought I would see what you guys think.
I keep coming back to some mutated variety of Loripes but I keep waffling on that opinion. Tough to capture the nuances of the color tones in a picture but this piece has my vote for "this weeks fave" in my reef.

I agree. It looks like very much like A. insignis. The wide spacing with the radial corallites is a fairly unique trait.

I had also thought about that earlier but dismissed it because the corallite structure seems to be less cupped and more widely spaced from what I've seen before so with it's smooth skin I started leaning toward Loripes but as I said kept waffling on that id. After carefully reviewing the insignis pictures in Corals of the World again there is one of the photos that it does resemble so I have to say I am in agreement so the vote is still unaminous.
