your very hardest corals to keep

ORA orgon tort, it was triving then sucked in its polyps and tarting to go white STN. Also have an true undata that was growing fast then all of a sudden tissue started browning and losing polyp extenion, from the center outward STN. The rest of my montis are doing ok but they are showing signs of browning in the center too. Thinking about swiching salts.

This could be monti eating nudis...

You guys are making me nervous with the ORA Torts
I have one waiting for me at our local fragswap.

I have a Bali Tort now that does great. I so want that ORA

I wasn't being fair to the A. tortuosa, I have always lost them through my own dumb fault(dropping them, other corals being too close, etc.) I will be getting some more pretty soon, I guess when I find some room for them. Good luck
Matt

The chips acro(horrida from what I've read) is one coral I don't think I'll ever be able to keep. Birdsnest hate my tank as well. Oregon tort is another coral that had an obvious disdain towards my tank as well haha.

SPS do great in my tank, but I got a Atlantis Meteor Shower Cyphastrea Coral a few weeks ago that is brown and looks like it's on the brink of death. I have a lot of light in my tank and trying to find the best place for this coral has been a challenge for me. It's currently somewhat shaded on the sand bed in hopes that it comes back to life and the pretty blue color with red polyps it's supposed to be.

I know the Cyphastrea is an LPS. I haven't experienced an SPS that I can't keep yet, but finding a good spot the Meteor Shower likes is proving to be a challenge for me. The frag was colorful when I got it. It did go through quarentine and treatment though to prevent unwanted parasites in my display which stressed it out too.

Oregon blue tort. I want one so bad but after three tries. I tried the top, the middle, and the bottom of my tank but lost every one I tried.

purple pillow

Ihave failed three times now. The last one I got to go from a inch and a half frag into a decent little minicolony in 6 months.........then had a alk spike a couple of weeks ago and lost it overnight :(

my hardest coral to keep is no longer with me
elegance coral

growing that no problem

Oregon blue tort. I've lost ~4 frags. I can't keep it for whatever reason. Every other tort that I've tried is growing great, but these just don't like me.

also no problem

i couldn't get a monti cap to grow at all for 2 years. i have an orange one now that seems to be doing ok though. it's weird.
i have 2 digi's that are growing like weeds though.

i can't keep an oregon tort if my life depended on it. uggggh.

also no problem

efflo's give me trouble they do good for a while and then start to die off.

efflos are doing great

ORA Hawkins for me. IT is thw only foral (ORA or ontherwise) that I have any trouble with. It will show signs of tissue recession, then recover, again, and again. Frustrating as it's a beautiful piece.

hawkins is beautiful...

But the hardest, longest taking to grow would have to be my Merulina..... but it is growing :love1:

A. Abrotanoid is being a b I t c h in my reef. It's brown and growing....why you no color up abro!!!?

In my old tank goniopora.

In this tank i got problems with Seriatopora caliendrum. Mostly because of too much light even on the bottom.
