dave of atlantis aquariums in montgomery alabama. bout to put an order together for some fish and corals. just wondering what stuff you guys think i should try to get in. not that i would hold anyone to a purchase. just nice to have stuff in stock that people actually want. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks, dave

First thing I look for when I got to a LFS are things I dont have and that I cant leave without. For me that consists of rare pieces of chalice, acans, zoanthids...etc. I havent ventured into SPS right now. good luck

I typically look for nice sps frags (even though you guys have some of the nicest sps ive seen in a lfs in alabama) and some unique fish like I don't know a regal angel or some genicanthus species :)

I would stock with things people buy most like a lot of zoas and clown fish, tangs and that sort of thing, and then maybe a few hard to find things, you will probably sell more of the common stuff, but nice to have the hard to find stuff to keep the more advanced reefers visiting

I agree. I am almost fully stocked on fish and just starting coral which isn't always these case for each person. I am shopping for softies such as colorful Zoa and any LPS that can tolerate lower lighting conditions but Tangs and Clown Fish are always in demand.
I also don't see alot of Anemones locally and everyone wants one to host their "Nemos"?
Personally if I could get a guarantee that a Goby or Blenny wouldn't jump out of my tank and take a death dive, I would love one of them too. Good luck! Hope to see the store soon!
