Wow, that looks awesome! All you fish are so big and healthy! What is your future stocking list? Any corals or rays??

Thanks Josh:D I currently have a Bluespotted Skate in qt (bought him the same time as the shark) I just want to fatten him up a bit though.

As far as a stock list goes I am pretty much open to any fish compatible with sharks and rays, like surgeonfish, groupers, and wrasses. I would like to have fish that are not too commonly seen. Any suggestions?

Thanks Tozzi! I appreciate it. Yeah, so far I am very impressed with the skimmer!*Its pulling out a lot of crap.

I just went through all 14 pages, awesome build! Beautiful fish and I love the shark's Jaw theme. My mom and I used to watch the original jaws before swimming in Otsego Lake (Gaylord, MI). To this day when i swim in that lake I play that theme in my head. Nice work man it is inspiring! Tom

Very cool Alex

Did you happen to get any of your livestock from Jarrod? The rays look familiar ;)

Thank you very much Austin, actually I got the ray from Tropicorium.

Thanks Tom:D I think I would be creeped out to play the theme in my head while in Otsego!

Gotcha.

Jarrod had a male ray in his large lagoon that had the tail nipped off (he might have taken them back to the Trop when he broke down his lagoon). He bought my female off of my when she needed a man and more space, I took her home when her disk was only 3" across and she blew up to a 8" disk in no time!

Wow she sure did grow fast! What did you feed her? Im trying to fatten mine up right now.

EDIT: I think he may have been Jarrod's, they said someone had brought him in that no longer was keeping saltwater.

:D I'm pretty sure you have my Shelly then, the female ;) That's awesome!

I fed her squid. While little, they grow like absolutely weeds, once they get a bit larger they tend not to grow as fast.

BTW, her name is Shelly and she is nearly four years old now

If you don't mind me asking, where are you located? Care to have a visitor ever? I'm in Ann Arbor, and if you visit the Trop you're proly not too far from there ;) Feel free to PM.

WOW, what a small world! I am about 1 hour north of Detroit, Washington Twp, and I would love to have visitors once the room is complete and doesn't look like a mess like it does now!
