Yuma Melting Syndrome

So I've been thinking of dipping my toes into Yumas.... and I wanted to know if anyone had any advice on avoiding Yuma melting syndrome, besides low light and slow photo acclimation.

From what I understand, YMS is mostly caused from wild yumas being collected, shipped, shipped again, and ultimately dying from infections because of a weakend immune system from all the stress. What can we do to help it recover more quickly from all the stress?

Very low light. They may almost start to look bleached out. Once they start looking good. By good i mean still looking bleached out but opening up fully. Then move them up a little each week.
