YWG and Randals pistol shrimp

For some time I've been looking for a YWG ( yellow watchman goby ) pair, today at the LFS I visited where a friend works I found that they had 2 YWG's. He said that they had them for a few weeks and that they had been tight the whole time. My plan was to have a YWG and pistol shrimp pair. So what I'm wondering is should they all be added at the same time, and would a Randals pistol be a good choice for the YWG's? By the way the YWG's are in QT now and so far they stick very close to one another.

I would think a Tiger pistol would be better for the yellow, a randalli is good for Yasha haze and barber pole gobi.

Yes. Alepheus randalli goes only with samller gobies like S. yasha, S.nematodes
