Thanks all for their help, my eel ate one shrimp (about 3/4") last night. It seems that he will only take "smelly" foods. I tried a live fresh type of shrimp (We call them Bass Yabbies, I dont know what your equavilent would be) & it wasnt interested at all, but not 5 mins later the defrosted shrimp was devoured with much gusto.
Ill feed it 2-3 times a week.
