Zebra moray eel, reef safe?

I have had both and have seen many other specimens for each species and can assure you that the statement is not false.

Zebra Morays have rounded teeth for crushing crustaceans.. They are not sharp(relatively speaking) like other morays.

Zebra morays are not fast growers. I do not know max size as this is my only experience with this fish. LA says max size is 5 feet. I think it would take a verrry long time for mine to get anywhere near that size if it ever did.

I have one at work who is around 30 years old and he's about 4'.

Cheapest food I have found for my zebra is raw deveined deshelled medium shrimp from kroger, about one or two a day. And an occasional couple crawlfish that what ever his teeth are he bites thru it like butter. Have found my tangs really like the shrimp also.
