How do you keep you sand bed so clean? Also, great looing tank. Has anyone done a long term study on the zeo?

Yeah, Russ, nice progression. Explain your lighting in each shot. Some pix look more purple than blue and I'd be interested in what bulbs, length of time on the bulbs, or we can do the math on time if you let us know when you replaced them or changed spectrums.

Thanks guys for the kind words! Yeah Todd, I do need a bigger tank. You know where I can get one? LOL!

Every once in a while Ill "fluff" the sand bed with a turkey baster. I also have some Nassarius snails and a Sand sifting starfish that helps clean the bed.

looks like your birdsnest was the faster grower, did you break it in half or something? it look significantly smaller in the last pics?

I had a spike in my alk a couple of months ago. I adjusted my CaRx reactor to compensate for the growth and forgot to check the parameters. My alk hit 11 dkh which is a no no for Zeo. I lost 80% of my birdsnest.
