Zero Edge Experience Anyone?

I found these http://www.zeroedgeaquarium.com/ and am now in love with the way they look in the pictures. They do something I've always wanted in an aquarium visually and I'd love to try something around a 150. Does anyone have any experience with them?

Forgive my failing search skills if this is the wrong place for this post, I promise I looked around first :)

I saw one at a LFS.

They took it down after 6 months or so once they got tired of scraping off coralline from 6 (8?) sides of glass. Also, some of their snails were travelling from the interior of the tank to the exterior panes of glass which kinda' ruined the zero edge effect by causing waves in the cascading water.

The tank, however, certainly looked cool ...

My lfs has one that has been running for over a year....other than lots of maintnance keeping up with scraping algae off all 8 sides its awesome...they clean it daily to prevent coraline growth and have all sorts of corals in it....I spend about 10 minutes staring at it everytime I go there...they keep no snails in it....only hermits

Hi! I've had the small one(20 gal) in operation for almost a year. I am very satisfied with. Cleaning is minimal. I just wipe the sides down every 5 days or so. It's easy because the tank is so shallow. Sure beats the scuba gear I needed to reach the bottom of a 60 gal hex that I had before.
If you can, try to set up with an auto top off. Evaporation rate is high for such a small tank, usually 1.5 gal a day.
Fish are limited. In the beginning I had clowns jump out and really small cardinals be pulled off the side. Finally found pajama cardinals which are thriving quite nicely.
The tank does have its limitations but it is truly beautiful and I like it very much. Jean

Forgot to mention. I have snails and they are very funny. They go up and over the side and down the outside of the tank. I used to panic and put them back in until I found out that they go back and forth by themselves without a problem. Jean

One of my LFS has one that they keep mostly clams in. It's a cool novelty, but they are quickly tiring of the maintenance with cleaning it every couple days. Also, what they found out the hard way is that the tank must be PERFECTLY level for it to work right, otherwise you get a sort of funny ripple on the outside, and it makes it hard to see through. Looks great from above though!
