ziovit????

i am currently using prodibio products (bioptin biodigest and reef booster) on my 300 gallon sps and lps tank. i have herd of of the ziovit products and want to know if i can use any of them without running a full ziovit system. i heard corral vit, coral snow and pohls extra are great but want to know if i can use them without the whole ziovit system? will i only notice results in my sps corrals or also lps?

If your system is ULNS due to the prodibiio, then the Zeovit should work.
Half the system is nutrient reduction (zeoliths, reactor, carbon source (start2-3), bacteria (zeobak)). The other half iaare the additives to increase colors (mainly sps).

ok great! besides the prodibio biodigest andbioptim i am using biopellets (2/3 of the recomendes dose) in a reactor, and carbon in a media bag. can i also use zeobak at a time?

I think the biodigest is a bacteria source. If that is the case, the zeobak is also a bacteria source and you would not be gaining anything.

ok perfect, and what about the biopelets? do they also do a similar funcion or would you compare them with the zeolites?

hey both systems are great and you can choose one of these and you will be happy!

But, if you are happy at the moment with your colors and healthy corals with high growth rate, then "NEVER CHANGE A RUNNING SYSTEM!"

The biopelets are the carbon source. In zeovit, the carbon source is start3. Start3 should be dosed 2X per day. Biopelets are automatic, but still early in development.
I would go with one system or the other. If you do a hybrid and run into problems/ questions, people will have a hard time helping.

ok perfect. i will stick with biopellets then. i have been using them and my system is running great. i will also dose my system with bioptim biodigest and reef booster... what do you think?
