Zoa dieing & smelling bad ! Help please

Hi,

I have a problem with some zoas, some frags are getting white and slimy and they are smelling bad if I put them out of the water.

Could it be some kind of infection ( the frags had less current ) ?
What can I do ? I hope not all the Zoa frags will die

I think my water is ok, i dont have any problems with about 100 SPS and some LPS, only the Zoa are dieing ...

i would suggest buyings Lugols solution and giving thema dip. sorry ive never seen it before, but i think that is your best bet. and give them some more flo.

I would hold off on doing the lugols solution... Any added stress to the frag at this point is only going to be worse... I would move them to a higher flow are and maybe a little higher in the tank... Also please post up your complete water parameters...

Including Salinity, PH, nitrates, nitrites, and ammonia... That is the only way we can give a better suggestion...

How are the other frags doing?

That will completely wipe out your zoas.

Take all infected out and remove ALL of the dieing zoas, remove extra just to be safe.

Place frags back in high flow.

Highly deadly fungus or bacteria.
