I use to reef all SPS, but now i have sold my large tank and have my small office tank where i'm going to do a zoa garden. Since i'll be limited in space at time's i will frag colony's or if i buy a colony that is too large i'll want to frag.

What are you dipping procedures Both new colony and fresh cut frag. Also what dip brands do you use?

What chemicals should i have on hand in to treat zoas if they start to receed?

when it comes to fraging do you just use a scalpal and then super glue to a plug? Anything else i should know would be great. Thanks in advance.

Always wear Protective equipment, Goggles, gloves and if your cautious like me a a mask for your mouth. Trust me you don't want a Z's or especially a Paly tagging you with slime or squirting you in the EYE or mouth. Not the best feeling.

I've been hit in the eye and also got squirted on my face and lip... worst feeling ever.

I use scapple, bone cutters or just chip them off the rocks. Dip em in Lugols or CoralRX , rinse then place in the bottom of tank after they're cured from the gluing.
