Those are your common Zoas and not worth much. You'd be lucky to get a dollar or two for each colony. I'll be generous and give you $20 for the whole batch
Agreed, but what about actual VALUE? I've seen them from $1 a polyp, to $20 for 100+ polyps, and some sites sell single polyps for close to $200 (not these varieties, but you get my drift).
I don't think I would EVER pay that much for a coral, but some people do. Is it really that rare, or is it all just hype? It just doesn't seem to me that the $200 a polyp zoas a year ago should still be that price now. I mean these things grow like wildfire in my tank, why is there not a depreciation in value?
