Zoa Oddity

Perhaps I could solicit some opinions on this 10 day addition. The colony was dipped prior to adding to the tank. No other corals are close enough to cause problems, in my opinion. The colony is under 2X150W 20,000K MH for 9 hours in a medium flow area from a Koralia 4 & Koralie 3. Skimmer is present.

Water conditions are stable, Alk - 10.08 dKH, PH stable at 8.3, SG 1.024 with Temp at 79F (day) - 78F (night). calcium at 410 ppm.

Opinions, suggestions or general feedback welcome and appreciated.

That's what I'm hoping to determine, if anything.

Perhaps this is a mixed colony and all is normal? Granted my knowledge of zoa's is limited and maybe this is "nervous papa" syndrome, but it seems many of the polyp's are inverted. Is this normal?

Are you concerned about the inversion?

Is it something I should be concerned about? I really haven't been able to find out a lot of information on whether this is normal.

Well it happens, usually a sign or unhappiness, but the fact that they haven't been in your tank too long may be the answer. Alot of adjusting going on, you know.
