i need some info on this sickness i notest that one of my colonies has this stuff can anybody give me some advice on this or how to cure it i already place the colony in a quarentine tank

yes sorry i just got off of work thats actually how i found out it wast zoa pox im going to try treat them with furan 2 tonight but want it to see if theres any other options thanks
Ive heard of some people that with time and constant water changes it just went away. Don't know the extent of water changes done or how much but I've heard of that before.
delso650 hits it on the head. I have done the same but it is hit and miss. I haven't had it for a long time now, but if I get it again, I'll hit it with Furan on the very first day.
I believe furan is really effective on the first few days or so that the pox is identified and the zoa is still in good condition to go through the furan treatment. but if caught late and the zoa is going down hill. Most of those guys will just melt.
I have used iodine and water, dip for every other day for 1 week. Notice that the spots some what dim out and the polyps open after a few dips. Repeated this step until the spots worked themselves out.
