Anyone can ID?
This was a big mixed colony that went all the way to the bottom of the rock, it's been decimated in less than a month. Only the Radioactive Dragons are been affected.

Sponge?

I know I have POX also on this colony (waiting on arrival of Furan2) anything else I must do?

thanks

looks like faded eagle eyes
Placement in tank? Height to light ?
FLow?
Tank parameters?
Where was it at before and now in the tank?
Was it acclimated properly?

It's been with me for over a year, never moved from the same spot
same placement on the tank (mid section about 15" bellow water) under 250 MH 14K and T5

It's the only colony with issues was doing great before
Picture was taken with Flash, they start to fade right after the white filaments take over from underneath. all the white tangle matter looks like is sucking the life out of it, could you ID what it is?

Flow 2xKoralias 3 plus around 750 GPH return with eductors
30 Gallon sump
Fudge with Cheato (lit on reverse mode)
Water change 5 Gallon per week

Water parameters are stable
No2 = 0
No3 = 0
Po4 = Undetectable
Ammonia = 0
Cal. 420-450
Dkh = 8-9
Temp 77 lights off 80 lights on

I skim heavy, and run Phos and Carbon 24/7 on separate reactors

thanks

have you tried removing the sponge materials use tweezer's or scaple of sorts to rip/tear them off. Also try moving them a " little " higher.

Yesterday I did a water change, snapped the colony out, did a fresh water dip (15-20 min) and brushed off as much as possible of the white spaghetti as possible, I noticed they came off fairly easy. I did bother the zoas a bit, there is still 20% left that I could not get to it. I have no idea if it will grow back.

You mean move them closer to the surface?

Yea. move them a couple inches towards the light. Do you have a FTS ( Full tank shot )? to see how its placed in the tank and lighting>?

I'll try to take a couple tonight
the light is an odyssea fixture with upgraded ballast and bulb
1x250 MH the zoas are right bellow the MH mid tank in placement (at least they where) right now they are on a holding tank after yesterday's fresh water dip and scrub
