Zoanthid frags for sale

Hey Kes!!!

Haha! I gave up on trying to find that zoa a long time ago. I wonder if anyone still has it?

Colin!! Many reefers apparently had colonies of it (originally from Hunter at Lucky Goldfish) but after awhile they eventually melted away. :thumbdown

Kes! This was one of my favorite zoas, but they were difficult growers. I got my colony up to about 6, then they slowly melted.

I haven't seen them in a couple of years -- the giveaway are the two black dots on the center of the polyp. I've also seen others that look similar. One such example are ecstasy palys (they look very similar to me, and could be a color shift due to lighting) but I haven't seen them either.

Derrick, I had 4 small colonies at once and they kept multiplying until they all perished as if they had a ticking time bomb. That would've been a more appropriate name.
I'll text you tomorrow.

Derrick, I might need your help in connecting another tank to my existing sump (both acrylic). What's the largest hole saw you carry?

Is this the zoa in question? I got it as "hot orange" from a reefer in San Jose, and so far I'm at two polyps. It's fussy though....I'm a bit worried about it melting now based on what I'm reading here.

Nope. That came from me. I got the tangerine orange from before and they are nit the same.
Byvthe way the hot orange are slow growers for me too :-)

Glad you like them. My colony melted not becuase they are finicky but I had neglected my frag tank due to work and busy schedule :-(

Oh no! Well maybe if I get mine to grow out properly, I can return the favor to you and send another frag your way if you'd like.
