Zoanthid Lighting

No answers?

I chose this because it uses less energy and I didn't want to chance frying my Zoas. I plan to get MH later but want to use this for now since I can easily choose my spectrum level.

Those are NO lights... They're crap IMO... Even PC's are better than those... I love how they state that they're High Output just because they have reflectors... lol :D

Thanks for the advice. Good thing I didn't rush into anything. I wanted to start out with either T5s or T6s for my softies.

Any opinion on this one?

Stick with t5's or VHO's if you're wanting a flourescent fixture... You also have to take into consideration replacement bulbs, and I don't know any place that carries t6's... Remember you get what you pay for... ;)

Will do. Thanks for the advice.

Can zoo's go under pc's? I got a 125g reef in the works with some pc's. I may upgrade the bulbs once I need to replace them this Christmas. Would high output pc bulbs be better?

zoos can almost grow in any light, but the preferred light for optimum color and growth are T5's or MH's.
