zoas and lighting

I have some button polyps that are "umbrellaing" I'm assuming that means they are getting too much light. Can someone please verify what I'm saying.

They are fine. If they shrink up and close in on themselves, they might be getting too much light. If you are concerned, check your water parameters.

They are not closing up. Every single polyp is open, but some of them are open so far that they look like umbrellas. I knew with mushrooms taht this could mean too much light, but I wasn't sure with zoas.
