I have a few different types of Zoas in my tank. All of them seem to be doing fine except one grouping. This group will open when the lights come on at 1pm but around 7PM will start to close up. They do this everyday almost like clockwork.
I have inspected with a magnifying glass and dont see anything. I really dont suspect anything cause it seems to happen at the same time every day. If it was a nudi or snail I wouldn't expect it to be timed. Its like they say "Oh well quiting time" and close up shop.
They are about half way up the tank. Light is 2 PAR38's and a PAR30 over a 29g. Params all looked good yesterday.
Thoughts? Could they just be getting tired/too much light and calling it quits before the lights go off a couple hrs later?
