Zoas disapearing

Could anyone tell me if this asterinas stars or maybe this snails are the one´s causing my zoas to disapear or cloose ?

close maybe, disappear unlikely.

some people claim asterinas will eat corals but ive never had issues.

the snails are just collonista snails and are harmless.


check for nudibrachs, sundial snails, or zoa pox.

There are some coral eating / predating species of Asterina. If I find them I chuck them out of my tank. I don't want to wait to figure if its good or not and risk my Z's and P's. Manual removal is best. The snails you have are harmless collonistas. good thing they're not Sundials that you have.
