Zoas getting skinny!!

I am pretty new at this and am having an issue with my zoas. I boughtthem as a very tiny frag about 4 months ago and they have been doing awesome. There are about 9 heads and have gotten extremely long. When I bought them they were only about 1/4 tall. Now they are about 3 inches tall with huge heads on them. The poblem is that some of their stalks are getting very skinny and can't hold them upright. Is there anything I can do to make them healthier or is this normal? Thank you very much for your help.

Has there been any changes to the tank, (added new corals, fish, rock, etc.)?
Also how old are the bulbs? You may have good lights, but if the bulbs are old, par may have dropped.

They are 65W CF. It is a 85gal bowfront and they are sitting about half way down the tank. The bulbs are about 3 months old. I haven't added anything new. The only things in there is a leather and a candy cane and a descent size clean up crew.

I don't think those 2 65watters will get the best out of those zoa's. Try moving them a lot higher on your rock work. They're most likely reaching ( Stretching ) to get more light.

I use 8 T5's on my 100gal and will use a 250mh with 4 T5s on my 37cube.

try placing them up higher in the tank.
also if you skim then disregard this... but make sure you dont have that funky skin at the top of the tank as that decreases the amount of light that will reach your zoos.
just my .02

delsol650: what are you using as the netting in that first pic of your current lighting?

to the OP: 65 CF watts is definitely not enough for your 85gallon. I would definitely try to move the zoas up to the top of the tank or get new lights.
