Zoas growing around the base of my SPS --this gonna work?

I cannot believe I don't already know the answer to this (I have been in the hobby a few years now); though, I guess perhaps I know the answer is, "no".

The sps was fragged a few months ago and doesn't have much base yet. The Zoas began to contact the SPS base a few weeks ago. Clearly they don't appear to be stinging it and killing it as readily as SPS vs SPS.

Anybody know for sure? Do I need to peel the zoas back? Lost cause?

Id move it if you can this happened to one of mine and the zoas killed a small branch of the sps they were hugging I guess if you dont mind the base dying off a bit and stressing both corals leave it otherwise get her outta there!
