if you were to put two different kinds of zoas next to each other would they just kill each other? or would they grow in peace?

The would grow in peace....for awhile....then the faster of the two will outgrow the other and eventually smother out any and all lighting causing the weaker zoa to die off while the stronger dominates and comes out the victor. If you don't one to loose one colony or the other, give em sufficient room from one another.
