zoo tank updates

Very cool. hope to get down to see the tank. I have been folowing the build thread you guys deserve a hugh ATABOY for the work you all put in.

Wow; I almost forgot you had that. How big is he. Is it the Blonde or Hawaiin naso? Male or female? Is he a good tank citizen? Not that I'm particular mind you. I am grateful for any Naso. Live Aquaria doesn't have them in stock. I can take him at any time. What works for you. Do you need me to come get him or do you deliver

I was also going to order a Hippo tang on sale at live aquaria. Do they need to be introduced simoultaneosly. from what I have read/heard, nasos are pretty mellow as tangs go.

The Naso is not a blonde ,much smarter...hehe
..He/she is 5 -5.5 inches..excellent citizen loves kelp and spirulina flakes particularly.. and anything else you feed him..will always be in the front of the tank. I am wrapped up in a construction job here at the house..
If you would pickup that would be great .. what works for you time wise?

Sounds like a beauty! Jerry you should get him/her for tomorrow I would strongly recommend getting a medium or large hippo tang not the small one that is on sale. If you don’t add them the same day I think that will be fine but they need to be around the same size IMO.

nate: Your probably right but bigger hippos are $$$. What if I held the Naso in the 55 holding tank while i order the hippo. But then I'd be moving the naso twice which is a stress for the fish. So thats probably dumb.

I was also going to order a foxface lo for variety and their algae eating ability. However they have venemous dorsal spines. Any thoughts? Otherwise i could purchase a yellow tang.

Initial fish list: Hippo Tang, Naso tang, ocellaris clown pair, one bicinctus clown (the female developed popeye so I probably won't put her in the tank), a pod of green chromis, two engineer chromis, black sailfin blenny. Then at some point I'll add at least one colorful wrasse. None of the above require frozen food on a daily basis so we can get an automatic feeder. I won't order for a couple of days and am open to opinions/thoughts.

well i am very sure i could kill him easily...lol...but i could do 2 or or 1 bulb as he said he was getting 2 but i can just get one...less shipping al the way around...let me know...
