I purchased 3 fuji acros about 2 months ago, the color on these corals were (were) amazing. Shortly after I introduced them into the tank one died and the other two bleached white. The polyps are still alive but not very extended like the other sps. The tank is a 300 gal, with 400 watt 10k on for 6 hrs a day plus vho actinic. I tried moving one of the corals down in the tank it has been 2 weeks still no death or improvement.
Of course the question that would be how to get this coral jump started again.
I really am not sure if it is just the fate of this coral or my tank, there is some thinking that these corals were hormoned, because of the amazing colors the day they landed in the pet shop. This is just my idea that reminded me of the old super small africans that came in all colored up.
The water parameters are closely monotored
ph 8.2
nitrate 0
phos. 0
ca 400-450
ca reactor
kalk
refug.
