Zoos Dying!

So about 2 weeks ago, I noticed I had a nudibranch situation. I tried syphoning them out. This lasted a few days, and they seemed ok. Then a week ago I realized the zoos were still not looking too good, so I bit the bullet and dipped them in Lugol's. 15min each. I was surprised how many nudis were still in them.

After the dip, they appeared pretty good the next day, they all opened up more.

Now the last few days I realized the zoos are dying! I had one zoo puck that's lost ALL the zoos (only puck left). The rest of the zoos seem to be receding as well.

I have a suspicion that it's a nutrient-reducing system I'm dosing. Would a low nutrient system be bad for zoos??

what nutrient reducing system are you dosing? I'm instantly very wary of anything that you dose into a tank that does things supposedly without affecting other things. The best way is to get into the habit of doing water changes rather than adding stuff... Also, did you give them good flow after dipping them? giving them low or no flow will usually result in a little fungus forming that can eat up the whole colony

Well I dont want to start a thread bashing the product, because I've been using it for a couple of months now, and most things have improved. So until I get to the bottom of this issue, I will leave it at that.

I didnt notice anything growing on the zoos, what does fungus look like? I noticed my bumblebee snails have been crawling around the zoos. They're usually around when something's died.

What else can I look for?

take them out and smell them, if they smell bad, they're definitely not doing well, also, do put them under some nice flow either way though, to keep them nice and clean
