Zoos in Nature

In my hunt for new zoos in the wild a friend and I happened across these. The Photobucket pic doesn’t do them justice.

They were in an area where there were other zoos shallow. They were about 20+ feet deep and growing flat on the rock. I was snorkeling with a wetsuit, so it was all I could do just to get down to take the picture.

Oh, I hop into my private jet and shoot over there for the weekend sometimes...:D

I only wish I could go there. My best friend dove there when he was stationed there years ago.

Those are so sweet!:)

Look like envy orange to me. Someone please take the colony out of the wild and ship it to me so I can put it in my tank where it belongs......LOL.

Those are sweet.....I need some of those! Thanks for sharing the picture.

Superfishy those in your avatar are hot too....

Very, very nice! I assume that you're allowed to collect frags from the wild? If so, it would be very cool if you'd send a few frags over to the US so that we could have nice stuff like you do! :)

Kind of makes you want to seriously check to see how many points you have built up on your cc miles program.:)

I'll get some more pics to share next time out. In a few places on the island the zoos are so thick you wouldn't believe it. You'll go down because you see a cool color and realize there is 10 different colors all around it in a 10ft square area and then you realize that that 10 ft area is actually 100 ft long. I guess you’re really sick when you go to a beautiful coal reef and swim over everything else just to look at the zoos!

Gorgeous! Can you give any details on how close to the surface these guys were? I'm curious as to how much sunlight they get to have such beautiful coloration.
