In Memoriam
Here is the 1st pic from the 1st dive...... with thanks to my friend Brazilian researcher Yuri Machado de Barros for his help. A dive colleague has just set me the GPS location of a bright brick red pair of Omanensis.... very rare indeed most Omanensis have light to medium brown body coloration. I shall be headed there soonest as I pack up my gear.

Don't get me wrong, but it looks like you are taking photos with a cell phone :) I'm really looking forward to your pictures, but you need a better camera. It's like I'm looking at paradise through dirty sunglasses :)

Unfortunately underwater photography is not my forte and to make matters worse my main camera is %$#@&...... for now paradise will have to be seen through
dirty sunglasses ..... my apologies

More variations, Oman Clarkii's
Notice the head bar constricted on the
forehead this is not common with Clarkii's elsewhere

I should mail you a camera :) Cheaper than flying there myself :)

Of course, you could ship us some clowns, and then we'll take tons of photos for you :)

Such a cool experience. Are you there with the military? School? Business?
