Petco has overstocked their stores for this event. The pile of tanks is pretty impressive at Minnetonka,MN store. 3 pallets worth.

Yea I just picked up two 40 breeders from my nearest petco today and I noticed they had two pallets of all 40 breeders available.

Yeah, considering both the 40b and 55 are normally 109 bucks, this is great. I just picked up a 10g because I needed to go there for some small fish food. But I am thinking of getting the 40b. I don't even know what I would do with it for now. My wife is going to kill me haha.

Edit: hmm, I don't have anything wide enough for the 40b. Guess I'll figure that out

geez. i just had to buy a 40b also. sitting in the basement with the top wrapped with saran
wrap to keep dust out. it is really hard to go wrong at that price for such a great shaped
tank.

I bought a 20H and a 10 for a sump on Sunday. On Saturday the clerk was putting the tags on but told me that the sale didn't actually start until the next day--but he was nice enough to give me the head's up to wait!

i accidentally got another 40b today. told the gf i needed a sump, IN CASE my current setup fails. she said OK.... got home to make my stand "i thought you have to make it bigger so the other 40 fits in there" i was like NNOOOOO, thats only IF my current sump fails.... i then got the evil eye. bwahahah

So does anybody know if the sides can be drilled. The information that was posted on the aqeon website said the 40B bottom was not tempered on the bottom, how about the sides?

Most of glass tank don't have tempered sides (especially this cheap). :beer:
