The petco closest to me is not good. Alot of the fish are sickly and they had a ton of flat worms in the coral tanks. They can't even keep leather corals alive they all just look melted. But the tanks are a great deal and I did pick up 2 40b.

I loved this sale!! i went out and bought a 55 gallon with the steel stand. huge difference since i went from a 20 gallon to 55.

Could someone else check their receipt. I bought a 40b in California and was charged $51.10 in total. This wasn't $40 + tax (9.25%) as I had expected, but rather 119.95 +tax -$69.95. It isn't a lot of money, but they aren't following their advertising of $1 per gallon as the cost of the tank. Seems somewhat shady...any accountant types know if this is legal.

they charge you sales tax before the sale so since it was 119.99 before they charge you the tax on that and not the sale price. they do it on all of the items that are on sale. sux but thats just the way it is

oh i see, so this is a deceiving sales. But honestly for $51-52 a 40G breeder is still a steal, you can't even get that wholesale.

Why don't the Petco normally carry 40br???????? I can't find a Petco within 150 miles that have one. They said that they don't normally carry them, and won't order one just for the sale. Why????

None of the petco's in my area have saltwater fish or corals. But I did get a 20L for a QT tank!
