1 week old RBTA, what do u think if i try this to make it slightly face foward?

i placed the RBTA where i wanted it. it only moved it's foot about 3" in almost a week, but came up on oppsite side of rock. he's facing the back mostly. i can only see his side, not mouth at all. i think he's settled. he stays exactly the same at day hours and at night lowers slightly. i was thinking to maybe place a small rock over where he comes up during day, maybe forcing him to come around just slightly like 2" to the front side of the rock facing front. what do u think? i don't want to touch it or change flow on it, i only need it to turn foward slightly.

I tried about the same thing with my BTA after a few days...I just wanted to adjust its position slightly. IT DID NOT LIKE IT. Moved all the way to the other side of the tank....settled smack dab in the middle of my montipora capricornus...had to pry it lose from there (It REALLY didn't like that)...it moved around for another day or two...finally settled in a nice spot facing the front glass...been there for a week or two...maybe it'll stay...maybe not. It's like my maroon clown is living in an RV

That it won't work. I'd maybe try to change the direction of my ph flows to see if you can get him to move.

Just be patient with it It's been about 7 weeks and just yesterday ours had the whole disk ontop of the rocks facing in a forward direction. I still haven't seen the mouth (maybe if I look down at it I will, but that requires standing on a chair ).

If it's close to the spot you want it, you're lucky - be patient while it fine tune's it's spot.

Just give it time to settle down and you also have 3 tunzes and and 4 mj 1200 in a 92 corner thats a lot of flow i know SPS dominated tank awesome, just give it time while it gets used to your flow .

well i placed that small piece of LR just after posting this thread, where it would come up when MH came on, now the rbta moved up and foward to about where i would want it. foot still in exact same spot. i got lucky i guess. seems like tentacles even got longer, alittle more flow.
