10 gallon NPS LPS

Anyone else alive around here? I've changed tank sizes several times the past few years, currently my coral are in a 10 gallon IM all in one tank. Livestock are one clownfish, a rhizo, two dendro frags, balanophyllia, sun coral, gorgs (photosynthetic) Plenty of live rock, stock pump, frequent water changes is the extent of filtration.

That's beautiful! I've always wanted to try a NPS tank but was intimidated by the care and frequent water changes needed.

This gives me an idea...
Currently my few NPS coral reside in the sump, not so much for the lack of light but rather to be out of reach of my always hungry Regal Angel and way too friendly clownfish. Also the sump provides good flow and a steady supply of food.
But I actually have with the Ventralis Anthias the perfect fish for an NPS deep water biotope...

Very nice !!!!

The corals look vibrant and healthy.
What food do you provide them ?
Do you have any other products that you use??
Try to have some more other different corals. Have you tried any soft NPS corals??

Looks great. What is that coral on top of the picture? and also what are those corals on the left side of the tanks? looks like dendro but with white poly?

The white large polyp on top is a rhizotrochus, the pinkish ones are balanophyllia.

I've just upgraded everything in size a bit, promotion at work and my cichlid's needed a larger tank so now it's all back in my dropoff tank.

I love NPS tanks. I have had some NPS coral but I like fish too much for them to be compatible. That and I am too lazy to cater to any specific coral.

Your tank is gorgeous though!

Thank you! Everything has been doing well. It's still cold around here but I'm hoping to be able to safely order some new additions soon.
