10 gallon reef setup

I have had a fowlr tank for years (180 Gallon) and decided to try out a reef tank. I was wondering if you need a skimmer for this small of a tank also a filter. I was thinking of using a aquaclear 30, remove bio ceramic and add gfo.
Things i have let me kno if im missing something

10 gallon tank
Aquaclear 30
Koralia 240 nano
Coralife t5 ho dual fixture (50/50)
Aragonite sand 10lbs (not live)
10 lbs live rock
50 watt heater
Saltwater

I think you should be okay without a skimmer. However, weekly water changes are a must!

Is 50/50 lighting good. Will it grow everything? Or should i get the dual actinic bulb set 460 and 420.

BTA's grow quick, I would reconsider putting one in a 10 gallon tank.

Ok skip the anemone... As far as dosing goes what should mag and calcium levels be? Any other additives?

Honestly, with a tank that size, frequent water changes are your best bet for maintaining levels without risking overdosing. That and the fact none of your corals require high amounts of calcium, dosing isn't really necessary.

Can you upgrade to a 20G Long? It would make a big difference and the cost isn't significant. I think it would be much better for the clowns and a BTA

I actually did pick up a 20 long from Craigslist. Very nice. No cracks a little scratch on back but im gunna paint it!

Good move. Double the water volume 2.5 foot wide. Fish should be happier in that.

This would be a better choice. Actinics are what makes your corals grow more than any other light.

With this small of a tank your weekly water changes would do everything you need, no need to dose.
