10 months AI Sol Blue LEDs- take a look

It all depends on how deep the scratches are. If they are slight then you start with a finer grit and it doesn't take too long. Deeper takes longer. I only do one side at a time, because it's a lot of work. It really pays to take your time and use each grit thoroughly.

Thank you for this. I need to try this as soon as possible. What magnet did you use to attach the sandpaper with?

Micro mesh makes a kit specifically for magnavore. Each grit is mounted on a pad that fits the mag. Lots of time, but works.

Thanks. I have been busy tearing out overgrown colonies and re-aquascaping. I got this nem three weeks ago and put it in the middle of the back section to add some motion and interest. I love anemones and clowns.

I have a mighty magnet. I just use a rubber band wrapped around the sides to hold the paper on. I put it right over the pad.

I cannot thank you enough for the tip to use a metal spatula against the front pane to get rid of coralline algae. I got a 28" deep tank so reaching in is a chore. I took down about 98% of it without any scratches. The best part is that the metal spatula didn't even dull (since its metal lol). I have been searching for years to find a solution for this and you just gave it to me. Cannot thank you enough.

The next part is to try to buff out all the scratches from the acrylic.
