100 gallon Rubermaid tub *FREE*

Providing I can squeeze this thing out of my basement without having to cut it up, the tub is free of charge to who ever wants to come and get it.

HERE'S THE DEAL WITH THIS THING......

I've been having issues with my system since about the time I added this tub as my sump. Coralline does not grow, stony corals all died off slowly. Capnella flourished, cabbage leathers and my green carpet Anemone have survived. Fish are fine. I suspect that Agway stored bags of ????? in it before I got it.

I can not say for sure that the tub is the source of my problem, but I am dismantling my system to get rid of it and replace it with 200 gals worth of glass tanks.
If anyone is feeling adventurous, and wants to use this tub, post here. I'll update this thread when I get it out of my basement and let you know if I had to cut it up or not.

I often need stuff like that for temporary holding systems. so maybe it won't leach too much in a short time. i'll take it!

As long as someone is not using the bulkhead fitting at the bottom, they could just put a pond liner in it, so they wouldn't have to worry about contamination...

It's got a hole for a 1.5" bulkhead, and a hole for a 1" bulkhead as well as the original bulkhead. The bulkheads will stay with it.
It's out of my basement in one piece, and waiting for you, Tom.
I'll be home setting up my new sump all day if you want to come by.
