I have seen magnifica anemone clones go for around 500.

DEF not worth $1000, you can get mags in canada for a fraction of that price. Ive seen some at SUM for under $100. For a larger one a bit more, I would NOT spend over $200 on a mag here.

I just picked up mine from my LFS 3 weeks ago for 30 bucks! It was a steal So far, it's healthy as heck ... $1000 ... ugh...

any chance someone could post the pictures he has?

here in the states, for a captive clone of a healthy, attractive looking magnifica, a few hundred would be fair. but perhaps in canada they really are extremely difficult to acquire, which would justify such a steep price.

Nope. I didn't live in Edmonton but in Ottawa instead. There's a decent lfs that has a quite stable supply of ritteri. I got 3 from them, all very colorful.

Keeping animals that are dear to our heart cause us to think that they worth more tuna their actual value to other people. Rare difficult to keep animals exasperate these sentiments. Still 1000.00 for that Magnifica is a little too much.

Make sure you are up to keeping and H. magnifica. It is one of the hardest anemone to keep healthy.

He's out of his mind. Josh at Marine Aquaria can bring you in a mag for like 150 bucks or something like that.

Offer him 200 bucks maybe? It's only 9" opened up, the ones you'll get from Josh will be 14"

WOW I just wanna know what this guy is on. It does look pretty but not for a $1000 bucks $250 at best that's even high. Talk about a make a wish price. It was a good laugh

I completely agree with this. It's a lot like watching real estate shows on TV andd people think their houses are worth a lot more than they really are.

Also, maybe the person really doesn't want to sell the mag, but if offered $1000, then it's for sale.
