Amazing house! looking forward to the finished tank. I see you're putting in a Home Theater. I'm an audio/video nerd and have installed a few for family and friends.
I'd like to see pictures of the theater when it's done. What equipment will you be installing? Atmos?

Well, that depends where it is, to be fair. I could probably move out of my 1500 sq ft ranch in Silicon Valley and buy/build a 5000 sq ft house on a lot of land in a far cheaper state...

Haven't followed the thread enough to know where this is though, so you could well be correct about this particular house

the home is in Scottsdale AZ. Its quite a bit bigger than 5000 sq ft.

Thank you. Yes, there is a home theater but honestly we have not specced out the components just yet. My AV guy said that at the pace that components change, he wants to wait till the last possible minute to decide which components to select.

I can tell you that I am not going to go nuts on the system. AV is an endless pit of money which is outdated quickly. I will put in a reasonable system that will allow my family to enjoy movie nights in the theater.
