That current fixture will be perfect for you or the double version of that. Or you could go with the orbit fixture as well. Somw places it runs at about 115$ or so. How much are they willing to spend on you??

I like that fixture a lot..........one thing............my parents HATE ordering stuff online. I found that same fixture in the catalog I ordered from them but the don't have the 12" one in there. What do lunar lights do? Are they basically moon lights?

You have a 18in tank. So the 20in fixture is the way to go because you can have leg mounts for it. It fits perfectly over 10g.

Gosh dangit. I did that water change and all.......now my water still isn't clear. If you look closely at it....it has little particles that you can see. This sucks!

Ok.....I think I may have thought of a solution........its probably a crappy one....but it may work. What if I bought a HOB filter and ran that for a little while....would that help for maybe just a little bit. This is driving me INSANE!

Man o man, I just keep changing my mind. Now for the AC filters. How about an AC 50? Can that be changed into a fuge?

Hmmm. Yeah...don't know. I might as well give the AC 50 a shot. Now in a fuge do you need sand? I would like to add some Red Gracilaria Feeding Algae or a Shaving Brush Plant.
Now if I have a filter that is creating a flow, do I still need a powerhead?

if u get the ac 70 u probably wont need additional flow....moves quite a bit of water. but maybe adding a maxijet 600 couldnt hurt. as for the lighting try your lfs and see what lighting fixtures they sell and if they sell the same ones as online show ur parents the price difference. that usually cures the anti online ordering problem.

Blue-I have a AC70 in my tank. It wasnt enough flow at first then i added a AC 20 Powerhead and now it the perfect amount needed. Yes i do think you will be better off with the AC70 than the 50. If you have any more questions dont hesitate to ask.....

This is Red Gracilaria Feeding Algae and is what I am planning on putting in my fuge. I would put that Chaeto or whatever in there, but there no place around here that has it. So this will have to do. I'm going to order my filter and the plant on Monday.

where do you live at blue? Im sure u could find a local reefer on here that would GIVE u some chaeto for free!! stuff grows like weeds and people are always pruning it anyhow
