10g Nano FOWLR

I just noticed the above posts about ICK.

Ick is the #1 most common parasite that happens in any aquarium, but is also the most simple to not get.

The most common reason for getting ICK in a aquarium is unstable temperatures. and 2nd from adding new fish.

I would check your temp and c how stable it actually is threwout the day. IE: check at room temp, check threwout photoperiod and with fan/air cooling and without and c how to keep a stable temp.

Also, always quarantine new arrivals before adding them into your tank.

Hope that will help u not to get ICk again.

Yes it is ok. I think that your fish are stressed and being stressed and caused ick to show up. They probably already had ick.

Yea, probably. Now the other one just died about 10mins ago..
:( Now I'll let the tank run after I get my filter for a while before I buy any fish. Now what fish should I go with that is VERY hardy unlike those damsels..........which I still wasnt positive on the ID of.

LOL....actually damsels are some of the most bulletbroof fish around....most people buy them expecting them to die and help speed up thier cycle and then end up having to take the mean lil' suckers back to the petstore to get rid of them or end up giving them a swirly funeral.

Well, I set some money aside for fish after I get my filter. I plan on getting a Clown, but I'm still worried that I will kill it. A tomato Clown is the cheapest clown but will grow too big probably. At Petco, they have there one of their tanks of clown fish as True Percula clowns when they're not.

Just my opinion.......DONT BUY FROM PETCO!!!!! They dont take care of thier fish that well and they are dieseased ridden fish. Dont do it......buy from some other privatlely owned store. Petco doesnt know how to take care of thier fish.......

go for the ones a little more expensive. those are quality fish at privately owned stores. they know what thier doing and it will pay off in the long run instead of buying fish from petco and having them die within a month............

It's my experience that most privately owned lfs people don't know what they are doing.

IMO LFS know way more than petco. Even if the fish are a little more expensive you get good healthy fish.
