10g Nano FOWLR

My water is getting more clear, but it is going slow as expected. I can see from one side to the other, but it is still cloudy. It probably wouldn't be very safe to add my fish to the somewhat cloudy water would it? I don't know about you people, but here it is a little past 10:30. I might as well stay up a little longer to see if my water clears up any more.

Ok, well it's almost 8 and the water is pretty clear but still has a tad bit of cloudiness. The fish seem just as happy, as well as the hermit!

Came SO close to buying a powerhead today. It cost about $18. I decided not to, a wait a little while longer. Since my water still has a cloudiness murk to it, I'm just going to wait until it clears up totally. How long did it take for your tank to clear up.....if you added sand?

No they're not in the bucket. The tank is gettin' better but VERY slowly. JEEZE! I'm just waitin' this out. The fish don't seem to mind. hehe. Okay, a question.......Now what if I used like a different type of filter other than the AC and then put some LR rubble in it?

You can probably use an emperor filter but you'd have to remove the bio wheel(s). Only problem with those is that they're black plastic and you'd have to keep the lid off or cut a hole so you can get light to the refugium. I think it's much easier to just go with the aquaclear line of filters due to their layout.

I have the 70 and somtimes i wish i had the 110. It has more room in hte back for fuge space and creates more flow than a smaller one. I have a AC70 with an AC20 powerhead. Its the perfect amount of flow for me. You should get either the AC70 or 110.

too much flow for him right now. i think. just go with the 70 and a maxi jet 600 instead of the 900 or some other PH. Wouldnt 900 be too much? What does it run at like 200gph?
