hey...

i have a 10 gallon running with ac filter (cheato) viper 150watt mh, and current stock is flower pot, bubble, and some regular polyps. 1 cleaner shrimp and 1 yellow goby.

ok can someone tell me what else i need to add in the tank as to feeding them and to improve water qualities.

so far the stuff i am using are
1. kent marin tech CB (part a and b)
2. kent marine pro buffer
3. kent marine essential elements
and feeding them corals marine snow.

what else do i need and what can i do to imrove their feeding diet. thanks in adavnce.

thats a lot of light for your 10gallon, make sure they're used to the light.

rule #1
do not dose if you're not testing for it. unless you're barely dosing, like once a month or someething its a little dangerous.

to improve their diet try frozen food. cyclopeeze, vitamin enriched mysis and such. becareful not to add too much nutrients in ur water.

I am the kind of person in this hobby that always says. If you ain't going to test it, don't add it. There is no need to add essential element in a nano tank specially if you are not testing it. if you do weekly water changes you won't need to add anything except for calcium and alkalinity buffer. salt mixed will bring the element to the "right" level ( and metal to the wrong level).

I will alwasy recomend Tropic Marine. IME and afetr reading some research done by universities I have seen how Tropic Marine won't bring metal level to an exagerated level compared to NSW. I have the link if you want it.

ANy way for your shrimp and goby vitamin enriched mysis shrimp should be enough. the less you add the better water quality you will get
