This has become a trend lately around here. Certain fish have skyrocketed in price. Hope this doesn't continue, they were $90.00 last year and $70.00 the year before. Brutal I know.

I've seen them regularly lately 80 to 100. I also remember when purple tangs were 40. now 200. We do this to ourselves I think. Cuz we keep buying them.

A good price for HI flames is like $80-90 vs most others will be $30-60 or so

The purple tangs cost more because it's very difficult to get fish from the Red Sea to the United States. Apparently Yemen was the exporter for most of these fish and we aren't really taking many shipments from them these days.
