My son testing it out

Just picked up 90lbs CaribSea Agramax Oolite.
:)

Who's anxious for pics? :P

This setup came with an under-gravel filter 60 x 18 and 2 30 inch t8 fixtures both of which i will not be using.
Still in boxes that i will be tossing up on eBay if no one is interested in them

Unfortunately i cant begin the process of setting this new system up until i drain my 55gallon tank as this system will be going in the same spot that my 55 is currently in now. So heres a side view of where its sitting now

Will be adding 90lbs aragraxmax sand, If the sand calculator is correct this will give me an even 2 inch sand bed. not near as deep as what id like but denitrification process can be achieved in only 1 inch of this stuff ( Or so the package says )

Also if anyone is interested in the t8's or the undergravel ive attached a pic. Would like to trade for some live/ base rock as i only have 60-70lbs currently and that will not be nearly enough for my new system

This Led Moonlight strip is available aswell, in good used condition. 48 inches long all leds work fine. ( again will trade for rock )

Waiting on a friend to lend me some totes so i drain the water out of my current tank before i can make any further progress.

If you wanted to keep Monti's, you could probably glue a frag to the upper portion of the glass. It may get enough light up there, and it would encrust to the glass.
IDK if you like that look, though.

This tank is going to be sweet! I am jealous of the LED's! Can't wait to see the finished product! Then again, is a reef tank ever really finished? :) I have some more rocks cooking in the garage. Hopefully they will be cured in 2 months. Last time, it was more like 3 months. I will let you know! I am going to have to start a live rock vat!!
