120 gallon upgrade and build thread :)

Well i didnt think it was possible for me to do an under tank fuge, but i went and bought a 10 gallon tank to cycle some rock in.... It fits perfect in the center of my stand :) I see a fuge build in the future :) Instead of a Cpr in tank design

The tank looks as big as my 210, if not bigger!
I'm a bit concerned for your critters, too. Even if the corals are cheap, it's still a living creature.

Tank's looking nice, just remember to take it slow, my friend.

BTW, I LOVE the monti with the... is it purple coloration with green polyps? Beautiful!

The monti is purple with green polyps, Im a bit concerned as to my tank not being perfectly level.... It tilts slightly foward 1/4 inch i guess ill be draining it into holding containers and shimming it up

Your welcome! And thank you for the light strip and great conversation last night! We had a good time and so did the kids I think! lol

Updated pics of aquascaping... Excuse the black background... its filthy with salt between tank and background.... son decieded he wanted to play in the water and splash.... i will be removing the background YET again and thoroughly cleaning the back glass before reattaching background again. Ive decided to go with the island effects... Really love the look of this in my tank.

What blue tang?

The 1 i bought from aquatic marine several weeks ago Mel :P while you were there with Jake. Dory is doing just fine and eating like a pig :)

Moved the tank last night as it wasnt very stable, my son would jump up and down in front of it and i could see it wobbling......... I assume it was only resting on 1 floor joist. So it was moved angled back into a corner where it can rest on 2 :) Solid as a rock now without any wobbling or rocking :)

Wobbly tanks are no fun.

You drained the tank and took everything out, I assume, to move it? That's a lot of work!

Yes steph, :P took me and a friend about 5-6hrs.... took most of the rocks out, and all the fish... left the sand in the tank and about 20gallons of water... so it was still heavy !!!
